Bio:

 

Olivia has been shooting adventure, travel and conservation for well over a decade. Her stories, words, photographs and films can be found in adventure magazines, geographical publications, journals and film tours in Australia and abroad.

 

Olivia was an expedition photographer for the film Winter On The Blade (Banff Mountain Film Competition Finalist), by Simon Bischoff and Andy Szollosi. She is the creator and author behind The Last Great Southern Adventure - Helicopter Hunting Fiordland, a book that explores the helicopter venison industry and conservation effort in Fiordland National Park New Zealand. Olivia has over 250 hours of aerial photography experience in part due to this project.

Kakapo Crest, a film about an all-female climbing first ascent (and overall ascent) of the Tusk in New Zealand, is her latest project. Kakapo Crest is being screened as part of the 2020 Gutsy Girls Adventure Film Tour.

Commercial and editorial work includes clients such as Fairfax Media, Tennis Photo Network (photo editor), Austockphoto, Banksia Environmental Foundation, The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Flexitech Engineering Group, Know Pathology, Oasis Horticulture, Multicultural Arts Victoria as well as City Councils.

Olivia has a passion for climbing and expedition-style trips. Personal achievements include climbing the Nose of El Capitan in Yosemite US, a rope-free ascent of Mt.Aspiring (Tititea) South Island New Zealand and a first peaks traverse from Llawrenny Peaks to Lake Liz in Fiordland New Zealand with an all-female team: Ana Richards, Liz Oh, Rosie Hohnen, Olivia Page.
